
A new pay and grading scale review affecting 31,000 staff brought Glasgow City Council their biggest ever communication challenge.
RCC was commissioned to design and implement an internal communications strategy which would explain why the changes were necessary and how they would affect individuals. The challenge was to motivate, inform and gain the employees’ commitment to these modernisations before the fast-approaching deadline. Communication materials had to be honest and accessible to all staff – from cleaners to heads of department.
