Rowan Marriot
Aid by colour is a registered charity that was set up by a small group of volunteers in 2000. Their aim is to 'brighten children's lives' and they achieve this by travelling to places in the world where children and young people are living in poverty, and work with other charities to refurbish and decorate kindergartens, youth centres and nursery schools.
They can then be used by the children in the community to wash their clothes, eat good food
and to learn, whilst their parents look for work.
With 4 projects already under our belts, Aid by Colour has brightened children's lives in parts of Mexico, Moldova and Romania.
This is the most rewarding work that I have ever done.
